All the World's a Stage
The Theatre Department offers courses for transfer to upper division as electives or as preparation for a career in theatre. Teamed with the musical opportunities at EFSC, these courses also can prepare a student for a career in Musical Theatre.

Acting I and Acting II classes acquaint students with basic acting techniques.
These classes use monologues and scene study to apply acting techniques to a variety of types of plays including American Realism, Greek, Elizabethan and French farce.
Courses in Voice and Movement, Audition Techniques and Directing, prepare students for the advanced work.
Stagecraft classes and Theatre Rehearsal Performance classes culminate in a full stage production to complete the student's course offerings.
Rehearsal technique, a professional attitude, a strong work ethic and the will to improve are essential for the successful acting student.

Training for the Next Stage

Alexandria Litras
Actress
It had always been my dream to be a working actress. Jeanine Henry and the program she directs changed my life. She trained us and showed us real world acting experience. She takes so much time with each student and truly invests in our lives well after we've gone on to other things.
