The tools for a culinary career

Prepare for a rewarding, fun, fast-paced career with Eastern Florida State College's Culinary Management Associate in Science degree. Choose from full- or part-time tracks which both provide a solid foundation in culinary nutrition, cooking, baking and sanitation skills — plus you'll learn about kitchen and dining room operations and management, catering and buffet management, food and beverage cost control and purchasing, personnel management supervision, and menu and marketing management.

The Culinary A.S. is a limited access program with a specialized, easy-to-follow application process. Students can apply to start in Fall Term or Spring Term and hands-on courses from the culinary curriculum are taught on the Cocoa Campus.

Central Florida is one of the top tourist destinations in the world. EFSC's program is located close to Port Canaveral, the United State's second largest passenger cruise port. With more than 40,000 food service workers employed in the Central Florida region, a culinary degree offers a unique opportunity to enter this fast-growing field. Career opportunitites include culinary manager, food and beverage manager, pantry cook, executive chef and many more.
