EFSC’s Public Safety Institute is your gateway to a Criminal Justice or Public Safety career. Our offerings include five Associate in Science Degrees — Crime Scene Technology, Criminal Justice Technology, Emergency Medical Services, Fire Science Technology and Paralegal Studies;  plus Certificate programs and Emergency Medical Technician and Paramedic programs. All provide the student with not only classroom instruction but a practical, hands-on training experience. We also offer training and re-certification courses for those already working in the public safety profession, plus a Bachelor's of Applied Science in Public Safety Management for career advancement. Whatever your areas of interest, courses are available at various campus locations and online.

EFSC’s Criminal Justice Technology program is dynamic. By incorporating the latest information, we help prepare students to be successful in an exciting, rewarding and fulfilling career. Our students find jobs in police departments, state attorneys’ offices, the court system and in corrections.  The program also provides a great foundation for further studies in the discipline.
