Healthcare Navigator Program
Healthcare Navigators assist patients in gaining access to resources that contribute to treatment adherence and overall health improvement.
Students graduating from this program will have the relevant skills and knowledge necessary for furthering their education in the Health Sciences. Communication, leadership, computer literacy, medical and legal ethics, and health and safety will be emphasized.
This Associate in Science degree program is eligible for financial aid and application is through EFSC's general application process. This is not a limited access program and students may begin in any semester. View answers to common questions about the program and the career field on our FAQ page.
Select courses in the Healthcare Navigator sequence require pre-requisites and/or pre-approval by the instructor for registration; a health sciences advisor can assist with that process. Students wishing to apply to other Health Sciences programs upon completion should discuss potential electives with the Health Sciences advisors or their faculty mentor.
Completion of the Healthcare Navigator Specialist college-credit certificate may be used as an acceleration method in this program.
