SOCE Testing

Cost for the exam is $150 and must accompany the exam application. The testing fee must be made via a Money Order payable to the Brevard Police Testing and Selection Center. It can be dropped off in person or mailed to:

Testing is offered at the Brevard Police Testing & Selection Center located in Building 8 on the EFSC Mebourne Campus from 1 to 5 PM on the last Tuesday of each month, except for holidays or when Eastern Florida State College is closed.

Pre-registration is required following the steps in the Sign-Up tab.

• All examinees must preregister with BPTC using the form available through the first section of this tabbed box. The completed application and $150 fee can be dropped off or mailed. The testing fee must be made via a Money Order payable to the Brevard Police Testing and Selection Center.

• Test participants must arrive no later than 1 PM on the day of testing.

• Examinees must present two forms of identification, one primary and one primary or secondary. Primary is a government-issued, unexpired photo ID with signature, such as a U.S. passport, driver's license or military ID. Secondary ID may be another primary ID, or a signed, unexpired employee ID, school ID, Social Security Card or unexpired credit card.
