The Criminal Justice Technology Associate in Science degree is a 60-credit-hour program designed for students interested in broadening their knowledge of criminal justice and for field professionals seeking incentive benefits, career enhancement or to increase their on-the-job competence.

Many of the credits earned may be transferable to a baccalaureate degree program. Program applicants may also be eligible for articulated credit toward the A.S. degree based on prior experience or training such as a law enforcement or corrections academy certificate and state exam certification. All A.S. degree-seeking students must satisfy entry assessment requirements and complete, with a grade of "S" or better, all required college-preparatory courses in reading, writing and mathematics.

Included in the A.S. degree is the 24-hour College Credit Certificate program called Criminal Justice Technology Specialist designed to prepare students for entry-level employment in the field of criminal justice and expand the skills of those practitioners already working in the field.
