Welcome to EFSC's Program Learning Outcomes
Each Eastern Florida State College academic program assesses student program learning outcomes. These outcome statements listed in the EFSC Academic Catalog clearly express the anticipated skills, knowledge and competencies students are expected to develop throughout their program of study.
The Five Core Abilities represent the institutional learning outcomes at EFSC and are at the heart of our assessment process. All program level learning outcomes have been developed to support the Core Abilities including the General Education program, Associate in Arts degree, Baccalaureate degrees, and Career Tech AS degrees and certificate programs. Each of these Core Abilities have specific learning indicators mapped upward to the Florida Department of Education (DOE) State Frameworks and downward to the program level outcomes and course objectives.
For questions about EFSC's Learning Outcomes and assessment process, contact Amy Krewson by email at krewsona@easternflorida.edu or by phone at 321-433-5098.
