Secondary School Transcripts
Applicants who have completed high school outside of the United States can submit scanned secondary school transcripts (academic records),
graduation certificate, and/or exam results (if applicable) to our International Student
Services Office via email at iss@easternflorida.edu for evaluation. Scanned documents will be accepted for admissions purposes only.
Students will be required to submit original, official transcripts, certificates and
translations to EFSC International Student Services prior to course registration.
Please see our document requirements by country list for more information. If your country is not listed or you have questions regarding
documentation requirements, please contact iss@easternflorida.edu.
All documents not in English must be submitted with certified English translations. For English translation, you can use any official service in your home country or translation services in Florida.
International (Non-U.S.) University Transcripts
Students who have completed university level coursework outside of the U.S. are not required to submit transcripts. However, in order for international post-secondary coursework to be considered for transfer credit to EFSC, students must submit an original course-by-course evaluation completed by a member organization of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (www.naces.org). Evaluations from any other companies will not be accepted.
Submitting documents
Students can submit scanned high school transcripts, certificates and necessary translations via email attachment to iss@easternflorida.edu to begin admissions evaluation. Scanned documents need to be clear and legible copies of original documents showing all the required signatures, requisite seals and apostilles.
Documents may also be mailed to:
Eastern Florida State College
Attn: International Services
1519 Clearlake Road
Cocoa, FL 32922
EFSC reserves the right to request an official document-by-document evaluation from a NACES member organization of any foreign documents.
Document Processing Time
Your documents will be reviewed by the college to determine their equivalency to a
U.S. high school diploma. When the evaluation is completed, it will no longer show
as a requirement on your application checklist. To view your checklist, simply login to your online EFSC application. You will be notified if more information is needed in order for the College to complete
the evaluation.
