Alert:

8:30 PM Update: All systems are back online, including student access to the Canvas Learning Management System. EFSC's IT team was able to restore network access this evening following an outage caused by a technical issue that began shortly before 3 PM. Students who had deadlines in Canvas that were impacted by the outage should reach out to their instructors. Thank you for your patience as technical systems were restored to operational status.

COVID Update:

EFSC has returned to normal pre-COVID operations, with full capacity on-campus classes and events. Click for the COVID Reporting Requirements and the Return to Campus Approval Process which remain in place. See the Student Services Guide for on-campus services available on a walk-in basis or by appointment, plus virtual options. Read the latest updates.

Correspondence Courses

EFSC will consider each transcript and analyze credit for transfer in terms of level, content, quality, comparability, and degree program relevance. Coursework accepted must represent collegiate coursework relevant to the degree, with course content and level of instruction resulting in student competencies at least equivalent to those of students enrolled in EFSC's degree programs.

All documents must be provided before the request will be considered by the Office of the Registrar. Upon receipt of the document, the Office of the Registrar will review all evidence provided and make a final determination on the transferability of each course.

Required Documentation

An official transcript from the college/university is required.

Evaluation Policy

Transfer credits are awarded with a “grade” of TA, TB or TC. Courses will count in attempts and satisfy prerequisites, but will not calculate into the student’s grade point average at Eastern Florida. Courses with grades below a “C” will not normally be transferred. If transferred at the written request of the student, the earned grade (e.g. a “D”) will transfer at face value and will calculate into the student’s cumulative GPA.
