Celebrate your graduation

Please Note: Fall Commencement is scheduled for Thursday, December 15, 2022 with ceremonies at 11 AM and 2 PM. General details are below. Please note that the check-in area to report to on commencement day 1-1/2 hours before each ceremony has been changed to the King Center Rotunda, Building 9.

Students are not required to attend a commencement ceremony. However, it does provide a formal occasion for students, family and friends to celebrate a significant milestone in their life. The ceremonies are held at the King Center for the Performing Arts at the EFSC Melbourne campus. Tickets are required for guests with the ticketing process explained below. For an overview of what to expect on the day of the Commencement ceremonies, view the Commencement Ceremony Information guide

The College has spring and fall commencement events. Students who graduate in the summer are invited to walk in fall commencement and should RSVP for the fall ceremony when submitting their summer term intent to graduate application. Two ceremonies are held each time, with students choosing their ceremony time and claiming their alloted guest tickets via the King Center's online ticketing system.

NOTE: The commencement ceremony is photographed and filmed for broadcasting on social media, WEFS-TV and College website. By participating in commencement activities, you authorize EFSC to photograph, record and/or broadcast your name, image, voice and/or likeness, and expressly grant EFSC the perpetual right to use your name, image, voice and/or likeness without compensation for any purpose in any medium. If you request that such information be confidential, please contact the Office of the Registrar.

Ticketing Process

• Students who submitted an Intent to Graduate application by Novermber 8, 2022 will be eligible to claim four (4) guest tickets, while supplies last.

• On or about November 29, 2022, all students who submitted a graduation application by November 8, 2022 will receive an email sent to their Titan student email account from the Office of the Registrar with information on using the King Center's online ticketing system to select a ceremony time and claim four guest tickets by the date indicated in the email on a first-come, space-available basis.

• To avoid delays in the delivery of guest tickets, students are asked to use their Titan student email account when creating the account to select their ceremony time and guest tickets through the King Center ticketing system.

Reminder: All guest tickets are first-come, first-served, until all seats have been reserved.

• Because of limited space at the King Center, tickets are required for each guest, including infants and toddlers, to attend the graduation ceremony and be seated inside the auditorium. For Fall 2022, the number of tickets was determined based on the number of confirmed candidates who indicated "Yes" to attending the commencement ceremony in their graduation application by the published Nov. 8th deadline.

• Graduates should follow the steps included in the email about online ticket access to request accessible seating for any guest tickets. Accessible seating is first-come, first-serve and will fill to maximum capacity through the advance reservations. For more information on accessibility accommodations, contact the King Center Ticket Office at 321-242-2219.

• Students who applied to graduate and reserved a ceremony time through the King Center online system received an email sent to their Titan student email from the Registrar's Office on Monday, Dec. 12th with details on how to reserve four additional guest tickets on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last. There is never a guarantee of additional guest tickets, with this option only available based on space.

• Ticket distribution is based upon the actual number of candidates participating in the ceremony and the seating capacity of the King Center. Guests are assigned reserved seats at the time of the online order. Tickets are non-replaceable and do not have monetary value. The College does not support or condone the selling of guest tickets. EFSC is not responsible for lost, stolen, destroyed or deleted tickets. Guests will not be allowed in the King Center without a ticket. Each ceremony is also televised live on WEFS-TV and via webcast with a link posted on the website home page the morning of graduation.

• Electronic Delivery of Guest Tickets: Student’s confirmation and print-at-home ticket email will come from KingCenter@mail.ASMMelbourne.com to the student’s Titan email address. To avoid delays in receiving their guest tickets, students are asked to register KingCenter@mail.ASMMelbourne.com as a safe sender to ensure that the email address isn’t blocked or listed as spam. Tickets WILL NOT be sent immediately – Tickets will be delivered electronically to the student’s Titan email address bwtween Tues., Dec. 13 and Wed., Dec. 14.
